Incubation

Incubating investments undertaken by ZeaEx Ltd is market-driven. It begins once the pure-science phase has been completed.
Category One concepts for incubation investment are those that are being developed in response to an existing and identified need within a specific market.
Category Two projects are those that can be anticipated to make redundant existing technologies or modes of operation in a specific industry.
Category Three incubations are “new market” solutions – that is to say it is projected that at their launch a new market will be created within an industry category.

Voice Over IP is one example of what would constitute a Category Three incubation project. The introduction of Recreational 4WDs with deliberately designed functionality for the suburban context may be described as another. A low cost and viable alternative to oil-based products from petroleum to plastics would be a further example of a Category Three incubation investment. Category Three Incubation Projects are obviously the ones possessing both the highest risks to investors together with the greatest potential for return. The bases on which ZeaEx determines which, if any, proposed Category Three projects are to incubated remain confidential.
